Veteran journalist Ambikanand sahay is at the helm of our news team. As the Director (News), he is guiding, spearheading and supervising Azad News and leading the channel to new horizons of success & glory.

Mr. Sahay has earlier worked as Senior Vice President at Sahara Samay. Prior to that he was associated with the Times of India, Lucknow as the Resident Editor and Co-ordinating Editor and Head of The TOI News Service, an all India assignment based in Delhi. Mr. Sahay started his career with The Statesman in 1972.
